Conference Date
            June 7, 2025

Organized by: The Japan Society of Materials Science, Multiscale Materials Mechanics Division

            Scope
This symposium focuses on various mechanical phenomena that appear on different scales in materials, including but not limited to:

                - Theoretical analysis using first-principles calculations, multiscale-multiphysics methods, and molecular dynamics simulations.
- Experimental research and microstructural observations at nano- and micro-scales.
- Solid mechanics research based on dislocation theory and crystal plasticity.

    Access
To reach the symposium venue at Kyoto Research Park (KRP), Building 1 (Science Hall) from Kyoto Station:

        - Go to the JR Sagano Line (also called the JR San-in Line) platform at Kyoto Station. This line is part of the JR West network and typically departs from platforms 31–33.
- Take a local train bound for Saga-Arashiyama or Kameoka. Avoid limited express trains, as they may skip Tambaguchi Station.
- Get off at Tambaguchi Station — the next stop. The ride takes approximately 3 minutes.
- Exit the station and follow the signs to Kyoto Research Park (Building 1, Science Hall).
For a detailed walking route from Tambaguchi Station to Kyoto Research Park, Building 1, use the following Google Maps link:
